Sauna Whisk | Eucalyptus Whisk
Massage by gently striking with a eucalyptus whisk:
- relaxes muscles
- helps with pain
- helps relieve tension
- stimulates circulation
Eucalyptus leaves contain a valuable essential oil, which has bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects. Eucalyptus is also considered refreshing and cleansing. Eucalyptus is a particularly good and pleasant natural inhaler. Inhaling the resinous, tart aroma clears the airways and stimulates the immune system.
Take some time for your whisk massage.
The temperature should generally not be too high.
You will achieve an optimal effect at 70-90 degrees.
Start with a light tapping massage from the legs up to the hands, over the arms, abdomen and chest, and finally over the back.
By striking with the whisk, blood circulation is stimulated and a feeling of relaxation sets in. The various essential oils facilitate breathing, cleanse the body, detoxify and purify.
Preparation of a Eucalyptus Sauna Whisk
Eucalyptus whisks contain many valuable essential oils and should therefore be prepared carefully.
- Rinse the sauna whisk briefly with cold water.
- Then place the whisk in cold water for 10 minutes.
- Afterwards, pour 80–90 °C hot water over it, cover the vessel and let the whisk steep for another 5 to 10 minutes.
This way, the natural fragrances are best preserved and can unfold optimally during the sauna session.

Tip
Use the soaking water for infusions or hang the whisk on the wall and spray some water on it a few times during your sauna bath. This way, the natural oak scent can unfold in the room!
Care and Storage of Sauna Whisks
With proper care, your sauna whisk will remain supple longer and can be used multiple times – depending on use and condition.
After the sauna session, the whisk should be thoroughly rinsed with clear water to remove sweat and residues. Then carefully shake out excess water and let the whisk dry in a well-ventilated, shaded place. Direct sunlight and heating heat should be avoided, as this can make the leaves brittle and cause them to fall out faster.
After complete drying, it is best to store the sauna whisk in a dry, cool, and light-protected place. This way, its natural properties will be preserved for as long as possible.
