Important tips for connecting your sauna heater! 🛠️🔥
Connecting your sauna heater correctly is crucial for safety and the optimal sauna experience. Here are the most important points to consider:
-
Correct cable cross-section: Depending on the power of your sauna heater, the supply line must have the appropriate cross-section. For heaters from 4.5 to 9 kW, you need a cable with 5 x 1.5 mm² for the connection to the control unit. The mains supply cable to the control unit should be 5 x 2.5 mm².
-
Protected cable routing: Make sure that the cables are laid and protected outside the sauna cabin. They should not be visible inside the cabin.
-
Heat-resistant cables: The cables laid inside the cabin must be able to withstand temperatures of up to 170 °C. Therefore, always use heat-resistant silicone cables.
-
Technical specifications & installation: Always read the technical data sheets and installation instructions for your heater carefully. And most importantly: have the installation carried out by a qualified electrician.
With the right technical planning, you can enjoy your sauna safely and relaxed! 🧖♂️✨
